Statistical skills grown a little soft? Been a few years since that Stats 101 course?
Been thinking about some options to sharpen your professional toolbox?
Statistics literacy, says HRExaminer's John Sumser, increasingly looks like an important survival skill for 21st century organizational life -- and he puts in a plug for the free, online, multimedia and interactive course he's currently taking, developed by Rice University, Tufts University and the University of Houston, Clear Lake.
Darn good advice, don't you think?

Thanks. I've been considering some of the "big-data" courses listed on Coursera (https://www.coursera.org/#courses), but was scared I needed some better foundational info. This looks great.

Ann, this is a great reminder to all of us. There is also a wonderful website, http://www.statisticslectures.com/, that has free video tutorials for an amazing list of statistics. It covers the basics all the way to very advanced statistics.
