Like many, I've been watching the development of John Sumser's Top 100 HR Influencer List online with interest. Now, John has published a compilation of 2009's Top HR Digital Influencers, a list generated by an algorithm which sifts through online HR content and measures it in terms of three variables:
•Reach (this is the number of visitors/eyeballs/page views)
•Resonance (the number of inbound links, references, community participation)
•Relevance (how an individual’s content maps against a key word cloud)
Each score is a percentile (as John puts it, imagine a scale that goes from 1 to Guy Kawasaki), and the combination of all three scores is the foundation for the ranking that gives us the list.
As a reward professional and from a performance measurement standpoint, I find John's methodology interesting. (Even better was finding yours truly at #9 on the list.)
So click over and take a look. Meet some terrific HR pros - and terrific people - that you might want to add to your watch list for 2010.
You go, Ann!
